Metastrand — antisense transcription in the gut microbiome
"Antisense transcription reveals disease-associated adaptations in the human gut microbiome" is published in Nature Microbiology. Metastrand quantifies microbial mRNA and antisense RNA at gene-level resolution, and reveals antisense programmes that converge across patients during active inflammatory bowel disease.
CISID New Investigator Award to decode sepsis heterogeneity
Chenhao received a New Investigator Award from the Broad Institute's Center for Integrated Solutions for Infectious Diseases to map uncharacterized metabolites and metabolic pathways in sepsis and predict patient outcomes from multi-omics data.
Appointed Associated Investigator at CISID, Broad Institute
